TransformED 2026
Monday October 19, 2026 8:30am - 9:45am EDT
Limited Capacity seats available
Being able to identify and regulate emotions is a vital skill necessary to function both in and out of school, and many students need support with this. But typically, teaching deep breathing is met with a groan and feeling identification is met with a “I don’t want to talk about that.” In this session, you will be provided with fun ways to implement social emotional learning, as well as some tools to teach regulation strategies in a play-based manner. Topics include utilizing board/card games, DIY and art activities, and regulation strategies that will address all 5 CASEL competencies. This session will primarily benefit staff that will be working on a one on one or small-group basis with students, such as counselors, social workers, and special education staff. However, all are welcome.
