What if challenging behavior is not the whole story—but a clue?

In What's Beneath the Behavior?, participants step into an interactive professional learning escape room where they will work together to uncover the hidden story behind student behavior. Through realistic scenarios, clues, puzzles, and team-based challenges, participants will explore what behavior may be communicating and consider how stress, unmet needs, relationships, environment, and other factors can shape what we see.

Designed for all school personnel—including teachers, paraprofessionals, office staff, administrators, bus drivers, food service teams, counselors, and support staff—this engaging experience emphasizes a shared schoolwide approach to understanding behavior.
