Participants will step inside a dynamic, hands-on introduction to Building Thinking Classrooms, a research‑based framework designed to shift math learning from passive compliance to active thinking. In this 75‑minute session, participants will experience the first three BTC practices—rich thinking tasks, visibly random groups, and vertical non‑permanent surfaces—from the learner’s perspective. Through movement, collaboration, and problem solving, attendees will see how these practices elevate student voice, boost engagement, and cultivate genuine discovery learning. A reflective debrief connects the experience to classroom implementation, giving educators practical strategies they can bring back to their schools immediately.
