1. Session registration is first come, first served, once a session fills up, participants will no longer be able to register for it and will need to find another session, so please do not wait to make your selections.




2. We need to have your selections made by September 29th in order for a lunch order to be placed. 




3. Most rooms will hold approximately 35 participants. We will schedule more popular sessions (as we predict) in larger rooms which could hold from 45 to 100 participants. 




4. We will have two keynote addresses.  It is the same address, simply given at different times.  All participants are required to attend one of the keynote sessions. 
   
   Keynote 1 - Visible Learning:  From Big Ideas to Practice
   8:30 am - Secondary teachers are the intended audience.                                                       

    Keynote 2 - Visible Learning:  From Big Ideas to Practice
    12:20 pm - Elementary teachers are the intended audience.

 Here’s where the keynote address gets tricky.  If an elementary teacher wants to sign   up for Shelley Moore’s session:  Inclusion is Evolving - Are You?  From 9:55 -   12:35, they must attend the 8:30 am keynote address.
 If participants are attending Shelley’s session, they would need to select the 8:30   keynote when they build their schedule.




5. Elementary Lunch  11:10am - 12:10pm

Tricky Part (Again)
If an elementary teacher registers for Shelley Moore’s session:  Inclusion is Evolving - Are You?  From 9:55 - 12:35, they must attend the 12:35 lunch.

Discussion topics will be placed on tables during lunch.  This allows the lunch time to count for a SCECH.

6. Participants are encouraged to carpool if possible.  

7. Participants should be in their first session and ready to learn at 8:30am on the 19th.

8. Participants should print their schedule and bring it to the event.

10. Participants will not “check in” when they arrive at the event. When they go to a session, they will check in for the session on the Sched app.

11. You should plan on bringing your laptop (if you have one), and cellphone, with you that day.
